Rocky is our ‘go to’ guy. Whether he’s reviewing custom life support system component designs with fabricators, coordinating the rehabilitation of a supply well or sourcing an exotic part, Rocky loves rolling up his sleeves and doing something different every day. As Rocky will tell you, being at Australis “is never dull.” 

An employee almost since day one, Rocky is extremely well-versed in aquaculture systems and is a co-holder of key patents with Managing Director, Josh Goldman. Rocky’s original career goal (25 years ago) was to contribute to development of sustainable food supplies – and that’s exactly what he is doing today.  When he’s not multitasking, Rocky enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, reading, swimming, skiing, singing and cheering on his children in their various team sports.

Favorite Barra Recipe:  Three Citrus Marinade -- using orange, lemon and lime juice plus a sprinkle of garlic on barramundi fillets (with skin on), and grilling outdoors. 

Parting Shot:  Rocky was in the Peace Corps, spent 4 years teaching in southern Africa and traveled through Africa, India and the South Pacific before making his way home to New England.
