Our company spearheaded the introduction of Barramundi, the Sustainable Seabass™ in North America and has proudly seen it grow to an international culinary trend. The company has diversified its sales activities to include a wide range of other sustainably sourced farmed and wild-caught seafood products.
We are seeking a full-time Inside Sales Representative to add to our team in our Turners Falls, Massachusetts location. This position will be responsible for sales of fresh and frozen seafood to a wide range of foodservice accounts. Reporting directly to the Director of Fresh Sales, this is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, articulate and persistent individual. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Developing and maintaining sales relationships with customers and prospects
• Managing orders in an accurate and timely fashion
• Identifying and resolving customer issues
• Working independently and as part of a team to develop sales strategies, review sales activity and target sales opportunities
This position requires 2-5 years sales experience, (a college degree is preferred), strong computer skills, excellent interpersonal and phone skills, the ability to work independently, and good problem solving skills. Familiarity with seafood or other food products is a plus, but not required.
