Fish Culturist
Shares responsibility for completion of activities related to husbandry and harvest of barramundi. Performs a variety of tasks relating to daily operations and maintenance of fish culture facility including chores, water quality testing, fish handling, grading, data collection and harvesting. Key competencies include mechanical aptitude, knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry and electronics, proficiency in basic mathematics and the ability to swim. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours and participate in regular on-call evening and weekend schedule. Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Aquaculture or related field is required. This position includes working in wet/humid environment, inside or outside during all seasons in all environmental conditions, heavy lifting (over 50 lbs), ladder work, and occasionally working at heights.
General Laborer
Perform a variety of tasks related to daily operations, fish health and fish harvesting. High School diploma or GED is required. Key competencies include strong communication skills, problem solving and decision making skills, and the ability to swim. This position includes working in wet/humid environment, inside or outside during all seasons in all environmental conditions, heavy lifting (over 50 lbs), ladder work, and occasionally working at heights.
