As a milder, omega-3 rich option, Prevention Magazine suggests Barramundi as a alternative to salmon.

"It has a mild, sweet flavor and a hearty 500 mg of omega-3s per 3-ounce serving -- about half as much as salmon but equivalent to what scientists recommend getting daily from fish to support brain health."
