Student Chefs Win “Battle Barramundi”

The American Culinary Federation's Professional Chefs of New Hampshire hosted an exciting event of Iron Chef "Battle Barramundi".  Culinary students from Nashua High School North battled it out to vie for the chance to post their recipes on Australis' website and win an autographed copy of Rick Moonen's best-selling book, 'Fish Without A Doubt'.

It was a heated battle and students had fun testing their culinary skills and learning all about Australis Barramundi.  In the end, it was a tie between Alex Smith's delicious Marinated Sesame Crusted Barramundi with Warm Asian Snow Pea Slaw and Kristie Kilgore's tantalizing Caribbean Style Barramundi.  Josh Heinzman's Barramundi 'A La Josh' was a strong placer  (Barramundi with Vegetable Risotto and Tomato Wine Sauce).

Congratulations to all of our student and ACF chefs for participating in a lively and informative event!  To view photos of the event and learn more about the Professional Chefs of New Hampshire, visit the ACF NH website here.
