Yedod manages our on-land barramundi farm
in Turners Falls, Massachusetts—a job he was practically born for.
Yedod was raised on a fish farm in Israel where his grandfather was the fish pathologist and his father was the farm manager, so it’s no surprise he grew up to be an aquaculture expert. Having spent his entire career (and much of his life!) immersed in aquaculture, including both closed-containment and open-water systems, Yedod is an invaluable member of the Australis team.
Before joining us in 2011, Yedod served as the Managing Director of Aquafinca Honduras, one of the largest tilapia farms in the world. He led Aquafinca’s efforts to implement a wide range of social programs, including education and housing for company employees, and brings a deep sense of teamwork to Australis.
Yedod has always been about aquaculture’s ability to provide a sustainable supply of affordable, healthy, high-quality seafood, and we’re lucky to have him helping us do exactly that.
