Australis Barramundi and Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Like so many of you, our team has spent the last weeks and months learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For Australis, that means understanding how it affects our employees, customers, and communities, and then making the necessary adjustments to our work and operations.

Our priority is to keep you and our employees safe, and we know you must have many questions. We are closely following the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) and the World Health Organization’s guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk.

We want to assure you that you can always feel confident that Australis Barramundi will be produced with the utmost attention to quality and food safety.

We have ramped up cleaning services and infrared temperature checks for all personnel at our farm and processing facilities on top of our standard internationally certified food safety and sanitation practices. The COVID-19 situation in Vietnam appears to be stable and under control, thanks to swift and comprehensive government action.
